Financial Controller

The controller position reports to the reports to the CFO (Chief Financial Officer) and is primarily accountable for the accounting operations of the company and with providing key financial analysis to ownership for the purposes of company decision making. Primary activities include the production of periodic financial reports such as production costing reports/analysis, maintenance of an adequate and timely system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of internal controls designed to mitigate risk. Controller must review and analyse a combination of operating and financial data to assess the performance of all company operations. Must identify/report and flag areas in the Factory that have cost overrun. The successful candidate will be a hands-on and participative manager and will lead and develop a team approach to support the areas of accounting, finance, cash management, budgeting, and administration. - Issue timely, complete, and accurate financial statements - Clearly communicate monthly and annual financial statements including division level results - Calculate variances from the budget and report issues to management - Identify areas and department which have cost overrun and report such issues to management - Contract negotiations / Letter of Credit (LC) Negotiations - Coordinate the provision of information to external accountants for the preparation of annual reviewed financial statements and tax returns - Monitor debt levels and compliance with debt covenants - Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings - Create and maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures - Oversee the accounting operations of each company subsidiary and/or affiliated companies, especially their control systems, transaction-processing operations, and policies and procedures. - Supervise the accounting staff activities - Manage organizational cash flow and forecasting - Ensure that accounts receivable is collected promptly - Ensure payroll is done in a timely manner - Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are competed - Maintain an orderly accounting filing system - Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions - Prepare Financials models / Financial Projections and Various Business Models - Analyse other company financials Experience: Minimum 10 years (Required) Supervising experience: 3 years (Preferred) Work Location: Rustavi, Georgia Working Schedule: Monday to Saturday (11 Hours a Day) Benefits: Company Accommodation with Food, Health Insurance, Annual Leave of 1 Month with Flight Tickets for both Employee and Spouse
