Financial Controller

Job Description : FC DUBAI a leading independent Oil Refinery and Storage Company is looking for a Financial Controller in Dubai. Position: Financial Controller Job Location: Business Bay, Dubai Education: Bachelor’s degree mandatory Availability to Join: Immediately Job Purpose: The Financial Controller is responsible for the efforts and results of the financial department. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in regards to all financial and accounting activities. Overseeing financial department staff in day-to-day operations. Job tasks: Responsible for initiating, directing and assisting in the preparation, monitoring and management of both operating and capital budgets, and the multi-year financial forecast for all budgeted funds. Reviews and authorizes the transactions to the General Ledger (GL) Monitors budget and financial reports and completes detailed account analysis for irregularities, account limits, research problem areas for resolution, ensure fiscal goals set by management are being met. Supervising relations with suppliers and purchasers, VAT compliance, outsourced payroll, and credit control Monitor and control expenses within allotted project budget Designs, develops and implements systems and procedures for projecting, monitoring and analyzing budgetary expenditures Reform financial forecasting, reporting and operational metrics tracking Responsible for analyzing financial data and creating financial models for decision support Evaluate M&A opportunities in terms of risk return analysis Developing financial strategy, including risk minimization plans and opportunity forecasting Assist CFO in short term and long-term loan repayment Liaise with internal and external auditors to manage annual and interim audit process Prepares finance related documents for meetings as and when required
