25 yearsJob Description : COO SOUTH AFRICA Said post is open to all nationalities all over the world The COO’s ultimately function is to ensure the company’s operational execution supports the company strategy and achieves the company plans and strategies which support the objectives of the directors, distributors, employees, and the end consumer. Oversees and delivers company performance and implements the Company's short and long-term strategy as well as maintaining the financial success of the business. Key Performance Areas Directs execution of strategic plan and delegation thereof keeping CEO informed. Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors. Provide strategic direction, leadership, and management of operational and financial activities that are aligned to meet overall strategic objectives set by the Board of Directors. Develop and implement strategies to drive operational process improvement developments. Oversee the Company’s operational activities including Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Packaging, Warehouse, Dispatch, People and Performance to ensure operational Attends compulsory industry association meetings: ISO Management Review Meeting – once per annum. Opening and closing meetings for ISO Audit. Opening and closing meetings of e-mark audit. Performs all tasks in accordance with the standard Health and Safety. requirements per the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993. Promotes safe working conditions to minimise workplace injuries. Ensures adherence to relevant Quality Management standards (ISO 9001). Qualifications & Experience A Degree in Engineering Cosmetic industry knowledge and manufacturing advantageous Understanding of diverse business functions; understanding of Corporate Governance and General Management best practices 25+ years experience out of which 10-years proven experience at a senior level in a similar position.
