Job Description : DIVISIONAL CFO AUSTRALIA FOR REO GROUP 20-25 years experience Australian ASX listed food and grocery brand manufacturer and distributor Excellent salary package on offer with STI Be an extension of the CEO, lead major business projects and deliver 100% revenue growth Location: Sydney or Melbourne Reporting to a sector experienced CEO, and sitting as one of 4 Executives on the Executive Leadership Team, this CFO will have full autonomy to build and drive the finance, procurement and administration department for this company. The CFO has primary day-to-day responsibility for Strategic Finance, Manufacturing Finance, Governance, Decision Support and Investment Management. The key success factor for this CFO will be their ability to successfully support the CEO in post-acquisition integration and delivering the 2023 turnaround and growth plan. This newly forced division of an established ASX giant needs to be prepared for double digit growth, and portfolio optimisation of its food manufacturing facilities. The CFO’s role will be to drive organisational growth by initially ensuring that there is maximum utilisation across all manufacturing facilities. This strategy will ensure strong return on investment on capital. Significant capital has been invested, the business has the right footprint and a strong competitive advantage, and the results will follow through successful integration and utilisation. The right candidate will ideally have experience in optimising and scaling manufacturing business that have recently undergone significant M&A activity. At present you are in a CFO position or ready to step into one within a FMCG Food manufacturer. You will bring depth of expertise in this segment and have a handle on food trends and industry growth markets. Leadership & Strategy: Partner with the CEO to deliver the group’s 2023 growth strategy Lead a high performing team across Finance, Procurement and Administration, holding responsibility for people KPIs, performance reviews, people development and coaching. Curation and deliver the departmental strategy. Be the custodian for Finance operating as a key partner to the business enabling sustainable growth and best in class execution of financial stewardship and decision support. Financial Stewardship: Directing the establishment of financial/accounting principles, policy, procedures and practices in line with legal and corporate requirements Financial Accounting, Reporting & Risk Management: Deliver accurate and timely reporting as well as prudent FX management Decision Support: Oversee and provide strategic leadership to the activities of the business to identify and leverage opportunities across all areas of responsibility Growth and Innovation: Identify opportunities for efficiencies across the group to ensure continuous improvement and constantly challenge the current cost structure You are a CA/CPA and/or MBA qualified Finance Professional with significant experience as a CFO of medium/large sized organisations. Alternatively, you are a senior finance executive ready to step into your 1st CFO position. You have depth of experience with driving business performance within Food and Grocery or Food Manufacturing organisations. A proven record of accomplishment working with listed businesses will be highly beneficial. You hold a leadership style that will nurture and grow your team and you thrive in an environment that requires you to make difficult decisions.
