Job Description : CHIEF ACCOUNTANT KENYA We are looking for a trustworthy candidate who will work efficiently without sacrificing accuracy. The candidate must be willing to understand the regulations and laws prevalent in the country of work and adapt to the work environment accordingly. The Employees position is that of Chief Accountant. The responsibilities include: Maintenance of Double entry accounting for all company accounts and retail stores. Processing all tax returns, statutory tax payments and filing necessary returns documents. Maintaining staff records for all retail and office employees. Reconciliation of bank records on monthly basis. Regular reporting of Debtors, Creditors, P&L accounts and Balance Sheets for all group companies including offshore division in a manner that all are ready for audit within 2 weeks notice. Payroll processing on monthly basis and filing the tax returns for the same. Sales tax monthly filing and reporting Ensuring all financial statements and records comply with local laws and regulations Reconciling all financial records on a quarterly basis to ensure the data is accurate on records and to rectify any differences arising out of such reconciliations. Immediate work Visa for 2 years extendable on performance. Can come with family immediately
