Tool Room Manager

Job Description : TOOL ROOM MANAGER KUWAIT · Managing complete Tool Room activities. · Manage the machining team to execute work in a cost effective and efficient way. · Conducting trials of newly manufactured molds to evaluate. · Process planning & work execution in Tool Room (Mold projects, Mold maintenance, Spare parts & Customer jobs. · Raw material & spare parts requisition for mold projects, Machine accessories & mold maintenance. · Interacting with Mold makers for technical related enquiries, feedbacks, evaluation and clarifications for in-house projects. · Daily report inspection & consolidate manpower, machine hours and raw materials to submit reports to finance team monthly basis. · Cost estimation for mold projects & Customer jobs. Maintenance · Planning & execution of mold maintenance jobs based on the feedback from the production team. · Conducting trials of molds to analyze the issues & to solve the problems facing by production team. Compliance & Safety · Compliance with all statutory and company norms/rules related to the Tool Room. Quality and Wastage · Ensure that there is no rejection due to low quality of finished products · Take adequate measures to reduce wastage and ensure all wastages are under control. MIS · Timely submission of MIS · Ensure that all documentation, record, compliance are maintained properly to avoid any penalty Self & Team Development · Training & Development of subordinates · Mentoring the team Work Experience · 8 - 10 years experience in independently Managing a Tool Room with good knowledge in complete Design, Manufacture of Moulds for Polypropylene, PET, PS Thermoformed products suitable for European/American/Japanese Thermoformers. · Managing efficiently a team of Designers, Programmers, Machinists, and Mould Assembly Technicians. · Knowledge of Thermo forming will be a plus. · Knowledge & Application of different Polymers & properties · Product Designing · Mold design layout preparation. · Prototype design preparation. · 3D mold designing+ 2D drafting and assembly inspection. · Design validation, Approvals and release to machining team. · Reverse engineering drawing preparation using point construction method. · Fabrication Drawings preparation. · Should have good knowledge of Part modelling, Mold designing, Assembly, 2D detail drawing etc. using Solid Works software.
