Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for ensuring effective and efficient operations across the Australia and New Zealand networks. This includes, but is not limited to, leading and managing the property, information technology, logistics and service functions. In fostering an operational excellence and continuous improvement mindset, the appointee will ensure that operational strategies are fit-for-purpose and support the business’ values and strategy. Critical to success in this role will be nurturing a culture of team development, accountability and transparent communication, while building a strong appreciation of the interconnectedness among the operational functions. You are commercially astute, customer and people centric, and have credible experience as a Chief Operating Officer (or equivalent) gained in the retail, manufacturing, logistics or consulting sectors. With an eye on effective operations, you are a leader who inspires and guides others to always raise the bar. A change champion, you spend time to understand the organisation from the bottom up.
