Job Description : FC GLOBAL BUSINESS AUSTRALIA $180,000 - $200,000 + super + bonus Global Infrastructure Asset Management business Deliver, lead, manage, build – continue the financial success This is a unique opportunity to join a globally recognised infrastructure asset management firm who will give you full ownership to implement your own processes, procedures and strategies to help support the business towards its continued success and long-term expansion. Reporting to the Global CFO, the Financial Controller will provide specialist financial advice and information on the financial environment and operations of the business, while ensuring the organisation is aware of and complies with all financial obligations. Ownership of the full financial management of the Australian finance and compliance function, including the supervision of finance personnel across (SPV) asset management, corporate accounting, and compliance/risk. In-depth understanding and experience of local financial reporting framework and relevant accounting standards, applied across both statutory and management reporting Actively manage and monitor regional OPEX and recommend cost-reducing solutions Work with Group Treasury on cashflow forecasting and regional funding needs. Hands-on experience of cash flow and cost management, budgeting and risk management Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models Management and oversight of various tax activities including corporate income tax returns, GST/VAT filings, FBT, State tax, etc (with the support of Group Tax and HR teams) Evidence of solid analytical work and decision-making To be considered for this position you must be a fully qualified accountant (CA,CPA or equivalent) who has previous experience in staff leadership roles. You will be a passionate finance professional and leader who can effectively influence and problem solve. Vision, initiative, high energy and strong communication skills will be underpinned by sound technical financial reporting skills and a proven success in finance business partnering.
