10 yearsJob Description : FINANCE MANAGER OMAN · Operating cash flow monitoring, projections, deviations analysis against forecasted. · Forecasting working capital based on good understanding of clients and suppliers. · Monitoring the foreign currency exposure in sales and purchases to provide input for the hedging transactions while ensuring compliance with the Group’s hedging policy. · Calculate and explain foreign currency impact on the business results. · Prepare and present regular accounting and management financial reports including monthly profit and loss by cluster and business unit. · Prepare budget reports comparing forecast vs. budget and monitoring cash flow by business unit. · Work on maintaining the monthly and annual operating budget of thebusiness units and will ensure receivables are managed effectively. · Manage the financial controls and accounting procedures, develop and maintain the internal controls to safeguard the financial assets of the organization and reinforce management controls that promote business process effectiveness. · Responsible of producing accurate monthly, quarterly, and yearly management and accounting reports as per the IFRS standards. · Review all month-end closing activities including general ledger accounts, balance sheet accounts and overhead cost allocation. · Oversee the reconciliation of the financial reports and bank position at the end of the month ensuring that the balance is correct. · Follow up with credit control department on all debtor’s balance overdue and review the cash statements and bank movements. Candidate Qualification – · 10 – 12 years of finance experience with at least 5 years working as Financial Manager. · FCA, ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or related accounting qualification is required. · Graduate degree in business, finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, or related fields. · Experience in one or more of the following industries is preferred automotive, engineering, FMCG, and trading. · Ability to think critically and strategically with strong applied quantitative skills related to finance, statistics and modeling. · Commanding knowledge of accounting, controls, risk, tax, reporting and liquidity. · Ability to lead a team and achieve goals. · Ability to contribute effectively to a team environment. · Ability to establish positive working relationships demonstrating integrity and a high degree of ethics. · Patience, meticulous with strong communication skills.
