8 yearsJob Description : GM TRADING UAE The General Trade Manager is responsible to manage the day-to-day trading commercial activities of the Group, driving sales, acquisition of new customers (B2B and B2C), and maintaining the existing business across GCC, Africa, and other Asian Markets. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Developing and executing a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base Delivery of Revenue, Gross profit and operating profits for trading divisions Manage all sales related activities covering setting and strictly monitoring of sales targets and ensures accurate delivery of products in all sales channels (e-commerce) both B2B and B2C Identify, create, and develop new market opportunities, taking the lead on constructing a robust and successful business proposal that secure new deals, contracts and long term relationships Lead expansion of businesses by growing existing businesses and brands as well as adding new brands to the trading portfolio Plan and implement regular push / pull schemes based on events / to improve slow moving products / increase turnover of a region. Ensure timely collection of receivables from the market. Minimizes sales returns/damaged goods and short expiry goods by monitoring returns, developing a depletion plan and avoiding overstocking the points of sales Timely update and present competitors’ activities and provides market feed-back on new products, prices changes, new launches, etc to the top management; Representing the organization at trade exhibitions, events, demonstrations, and other related activities; Monitoring the warehousing operations such as inventory and delivery Bachelor’s Degree in Business/ Commerce, Post Graduation/ MBA preferred Minimum of 8 years experience in FMCG Trading & Distribution in GCC, Africa, and other Asian Markets Brand Building, Retail, and Trading - FMCG, Pharma, and non-food products · Fluency in English is a must; Arabic language is a plus · Product pricing, product budgeting, forecasting, market/competitor analysis · Experience in E-commerce (B2B and B2C) · Working knowledge of MS Office; Oracle NetSuite an advantage Package: Up to Dhs. 15,000/- + benefits Working Schedule: 5 days per week Immediately available candidates preferred.
