Finance and Accounts Manager

Job Description : Manager Finance & Accounts (Plant-based) Base: Lagos, Nigeria What you become a part of: The successful candidate will lead end-to-end responsibility for delivering Financial, Cost, and Compliance controls at the plant as well as working with the plant team to achieve all KPIs of the plant What to expect: · Overall responsibility for delivering Financial, Cost, and Compliance controls at the plant and working with the plant team to achieve all KPIs of the plant. · Responsible for statutory compliances with respect to GST and all statutes. To facilitate the interactions with the various authorities like Dept of Industries, IEM/CMIE, Power Department, etc. · Costing experience is a must with SAP CO module exposure. · Preparation and monitoring of Plant Budget. Product Costing validation and update in SAP and efficiency reporting · Responsible for month-end closing activity and reporting · To support and oversee commercial procurement · Responsible for custody and control of Fixed Assets · Review capital expenditure spending, actual savings realization tracking · Review open PO and GRIRs and follow up with concerned functions for timely closure · Timely updates of standard costing · Controlling plant overheads, track plant performances on a regular basis and drive attention to key performance indicators driving cost reduction and waste elimination initiatives at the plant · Inventory control through monthly reporting · Responsibility for correctness of Plant Financials - Costing/FI · Ensure Proper Internal Control system is implemented & followed at the Plant. Essential skills, experience & education: · A minimum bachelors degree in business with a preference for chartered accounting or similar relevant qualifications (IPCC, ICWA), etc. · Experience (10 years) as a plant finance manager in the pharmaceuticals/consumer goods sector · Self-starter with an ability to stay independently motivated and deliver the assigned mandate · Experience working cross-culturally and cross-functionally with diverse colleagues · Prior exposure to ERP Systems and high proficiency in the use of MS Office
