IT Head

Job Description : IT HEAD NEW ZEALAND Head of IT, you will oversee the use of information technologies in the company. Your duties will include devising the company’s IT strategy and ensuring that information technology adds the maximum value to the company supporting its operations and objectives. As the senior leader in the IT team, you will be responsible for overall strategy initiatives. This includes but is not limited to transition from on-premises to Cloud computing, ITSM, Cyber Security, Systems Integration, Change Management etc... You will execute the Group Cybersecurity roadmap and drive security initiatives to protect business continuity and drive a culture of cyber security awareness. Furthermore, you will maintain oversight of all IT projects, ensuring that commitments are properly planned, staffed, monitored, and reported. In addition, you will also develop and maintain an IT budget - manage financial aspects of the IT Division, including purchasing, budgeting, and budget review. Negotiating, working, and building relationships with different vendors and service providers are also very integral to this role. As a leader you will manage a team spreading across applications, infrastructure and cyber security and ensure the team is given the right coaching, mentoring and development plans are set. Strong experience in managing and leading IT teams. Good practical experience in designing/developing IT systems and planning IT implementation Excellent understanding of Cyber security practices.
