Job Description : DEPUTY CEO OMAN Higher Education, preferably in Engineering Minimum of 12 years of experience, out of which 5 years in Senior Management Board & Compliance Experience Industrial Experience is a Must Government Relations is preferrable Activities & Responsibilities Oversee Preventative Maintenance compliance and effectiveness to reduce plant breakdowns to accepted levels. Ensure compliance, create and manage overhaul schedules for sustained performance and proper documentation. Guide Manager plant Engineering in making maintenance improvements to reduce costs. Plan, manage and execute capital asset program in compliance with Annual Operating plan and established policy. Sustain or develop a network base with equipment vendors. Promote cost saving initiatives including management of utilities and equipment. Develop a work environment within department that promotes trust, teamwork quality and safety. Assign accountability, build teams, hire, develop, evaluate, train, coach and discipline with corrective action as needed. Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary. Determine and assess need for additional staff and /or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary. Plan and schedule project timelines using appropriate tools. Monitor progress to see to ensure completion of project within time. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plan. Supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work. Recommend suitable developmental projects to improve efficiencies in overall working. Assisting to CEO overseeing and managing day to day operations of the company as a whole, in line with the approved business plans and budget. Assisting to CEO contributing to managing strategic directions of the company’s business. Assisting to CEO developing and managing g working relationships across functions within the company. Providing inspirational leadership and developing future management talent.
