Finance Head 
15 yearsJob Description : FINANCE HEAD NEW ZEALAND Leading, managing and mentoring a highly effective team, focused on achieving excellence. Establishment of fit for purpose finance systems / processes and controls. Providing key financial and information technology insights and analysis, business opportunities and risks for the Executive Ensuring the timely preparation of all monthly financial and management accounts and adherence to accounting standards Reviewing and analysing commercial contracts and supplier agreements ensuring they meet business requirements and are within risk parameters Preparing comprehensive monthly management and Board reports for the stakeholder group including P&L, cashflow and other relevant analysis Co-ordinating annual budget and business plan process, including publishing clear assumption information to preparers, a detailed timeline and review cycle. Being proven in the interpretation and presentation of financial and non-financial analysis to diverse audiences Ensuring accuracy of data held and maintained in ERP and other key systems Maintaining internal control policies ensuring compliance with relevant tax and regulatory requirements Day to day management of the financial audit process Proven experience in financial management and analysis, with a minimum of 10 years post qualified (CAANZ, CIMA etc.) Experience in SME and can demonstrate process improvement within the finance function. Experience in standing up a new function, internal process or team. Overall understanding on finance function and the ability to support other team members across treasury/ tax/ reporting when required. Communication. Outstanding communication skills in all formats, including the ability to make the complex and complicated, simple and understandable. Stakeholder management. Proven partnering and stakeholder management capabilities and experience i.e., working effectively within and across teams and functions. Social & relationship skills. A people person, able to build rapport and constructive working relationships with diverse groups of people. Resilience & growth mindset.
