Senior Business Controller

Job Description : SENIOR BUSINESS CONTROLLER HOLLAND The Senior Business Controller is a position within the Group Controlling department and reports to Manager Control. The Senior Business Controller enables the organization to achieve efficient and effective management of the commercial and business processes. In this he/she advises, solicited and unsolicited, the management and board on the basis of numerical and substantive analyses. This with the aim of increasing margins and turnover. The Senior Business Controller coordinates the strategy process. He/she is also the sparring partner of the management in major investment decisions. He/she initiates and supervises various (improvement) projects. Based on the input of the Senior Business Controller, in combination with the controlling team, the organization draws up realistic plans, the implementation and quality of which are monitored and tested by the Group Controlling department. Business performance management & analytics; Responsible for the planning and control cycle of the Group; Responsible for drawing up and monitoring critical performance indicators related to the strategy; Providing advice to management and management on the basis of analyses; Identifying relevant external developments and translating these into impact; Advising on strategic business cases and major investments; Project control role in broad strategic projects; Responsible for integrating risk management into the PDCA cycle; Advising on risk management broadly; Coordinating the strategy process. Academic training (Business Administration), preferably RC; Minimum 15 years of relevant experience; Knowledge of analysis, calculation and reporting techniques; Knowledge of project and change management; Skills with MS Office, skills with SAP and related MIS is a plus; Good oral and written expression skills; Affinity with digitization; Experience with restructuring is a plus.
