Instrumentation Engineer

Job Description : INSTRUMENT ENGINEER NIGERIA 15+ years experience 1.Trouble shooting and Maintenance of Instrumentation at GPP-, Train A&B 2. Highly desirable hands on experience in YOKOGAWA DCS SYSTEM, ALLEN BRADLY PLC, SIEMENS PLC, ABB & SIEMENS VFD CONTROLLERS, JOHNSON AND CONTROLS PLC, ALTRONIC PANELS, HMI SYSTEMS, Instrumentation & control systems. 3. Ability to independently trouble shoot various measurement instruments. 4. Ability to define the Preventive Maintenance Schedules and conduct/supervise Corrective & Preventive Maintenance tasks. 5. Ability to Calibrate, Re-range transmitters trouble shoot instrumentation issues and prevent Plant trips. 6. Track the reliability, earth related and other issues in the Controls systems and develop long term reliability programs. 7. Ensure adequate Spares and software are procured/upgraded and available at site, tested and ready for use to ensure Zero down time related to the DCS & Control systems. 8. Maintain reliable communication between the DCS System and the 3rd part PLC Systems. 9. Trouble shoot the Electrical Control Panels and the VFD Controllers. 10. Support the Trouble shooting of Control Panels, HMI, PLS, Power modules etc. for the CAT Engines, Waukesha Engines and other package units at Site.
