Finance Head

Job Description : FINANCE HEAD AUSTRALIA The ideal candidate will have come from a chartered accounting background and will have 5+ years relevant financial reporting or fund accounting experience within a small financial services firm. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting Provide accounting advice in the establishment of new funds and structures Manage fund accounting and reporting activities including monthly NAV calculations and reporting to investors Preparation of annual statutory reports and manage year end audits General fund administration and compliance Build and develop a team to support business growth Partner with the GM, providing detailed decision support through budgeting, management packs, and forecasts Driving improvements across all financial and accounting aspects of the business including the monthly financial close, treasury, financial analysis and control, taxation, audit and budgeting processes. Developing suggestions and implement improvements to enhance the productivity and efficiency of the team, business line and the overall business. Ad-hoc projects Key Requirements: CA/CPA qualified Minimum 15+ years experience in a finance role within Funds Management Deep technical understanding of funds management, ideally Real Assets Leadership experience preferred Ability to work autonomously and can thrive working in a small team environment
