Job Description : GM PHILIPPINES As General Manager (Chemical Manufacturing), you are responsible for managing and overseeing overall operations of this multinational chemicals/ingredients company used for paints/ink products. Initiate, execute and oversee the implementation of short to long-term strategies to achieve business goals and financial targets Maintain long-lasting relationships with existing clients from paints, packaging and/or printing industry Achieve the sales and financial targets of the company Empower employees Develop strong marketing culture and strengthen sales and marketing team in terms of technical knowledge, strategic marketing, sales techniques, communication and motivation Penetrate the market and increase market share To succeed in this General Manager (Chemical Manufacturing) role, you must have a proven track record in general management of a chemical manufacturing company. Having experience and knowledge in paints/ink is an advantage. Bachelor’s degree graduate, preferably in chemical engineering At least 15t years of solid experience in general management and sales from another chemical manufacturing company Strong network and connection within printing inks/paints/packaging or another chemical company that uses same products (i.e. printing inks, speciality inks and graphic arts products) Proven track record in general management and achieving overall company targets Strong communication and interpersonal skills Willing to work in the field or on-site
