Finance Head

Job Description : 2) FINANCE HEAD MALAYSIA As the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for the finance and controlling function, ensuring internal controls and compliance of local regulations, statutory and tax requirements. • Provide financial and strategic business counsel to the Malaysia leadership team by identifying, designing and executing change initiatives that have a direct impact on the core strategy of the business • Monitor and drive financial performance vs. last year, budget, trends and forecast • Manage the financial performance by developing forecasts and monitoring ongoing performance against plan • Direct accounting policies, procedures and internal control to ensure all financial transactions, policies, and procedures meet business objectives and are in accordance with local, Corporate accounting policies, principles, and standards • Manage the production of reporting tools and key performance metrics to provide management insight into revenue and operating expense trends, track project spending, headcount and potential risks/opportunities to forecast or plan To succeed in the Head of Finance job, you will need to have strong business partnering abilities and able to work in a matrix environment. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Economics/Finance/Business, MBA or CA/CPA qualified • Minimum of 10 years' relevant commercial experience. Prior experience in transformation and/or roles which require value extraction is highly preferred • Exceptional interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence, with proven track record displaying the ability to influence change at a senior management level within the organisation and the ability to encourage compliance with new strategies • Skill in developing people and in building teams
