General Manager

Job Description : GM PRODUCTION THAILAND An exciting General Manager (x1 vacancy) job arisen at a highly respected global automotive manufacturer, specialises in driving technology based in Chonburi, Thailand. Reporting functionally to MD(Asian nationality), this role is perfectly fit for an experienced General Manager who thirst on challenging opportunity working for a trusted supplier of automotive manufacturing. In this significant position, you will play a significant leader role to direct, control and organise the effective operation, leading team towards dynamic operations. Ensure all resources including Man, Machine, Method and Material are efficiently maintained and performed Manage the production costs to achieve financial goal, maintain product margin, and monitor serial productivity Plan and implement effective procedures, continuous improvement, and policies for the maintenance department to ensure that all equipment, facilities, and utilities are in an acceptable state of repair Optimise and control stock management to prevent shortage and over production of the product Define and monitor quality, cost and delivery objectives given to external companies when intervening, subcontracting, energy, security system, ordinary and major maintenance actions Ensure employee's safety and proper working conditions by conducting health management events/workshops and audits, conduct the safety audits To succeed in this role, you must have the ability to deliver work under pressure with in-depth production management and people management as well. Bachelor’s degree or higher-level qualification in Production, Engineering, or Manufacturing Ability to provide effective leadership in a manufacturing environment is essential Minimum 10 years in production and manufacturing management with six sigma training and/or lean improvement is a plus Able to lead and liaise cross functional team with excellent interpersonal skills Experience in analytic, troubleshooting, and hands-on experience due to dynamic operations. Experience in automotive manufacturing and interesting aviation industry are desirable Fluent in English communication – speaking, reading, and writing as the nature of its business.
