Brand Manager

Job Description : Brand Manager DRC FOR PHARMA Base location: Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo What you become a part of: The successful candidate will develop product support programs, product positioning and guiding field implementation of brand plans to achieve business targets and augment market share for our DRC West business unit. What to expect: · Contribute to annual marketing/brand plan including product positioning process and own the execution with field force · Developing innovative key messages and defining the detailed promotional campaigns and sales activities in the assigned region · Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales analysis (product-wise and brand-wise) and submit the same to senior management as per the timelines. · Research industry trends and competitive intelligence through survey and knowledge building programs to guide positioning decisions and ensuring that the field force is kept up to date. · Support in effective pricing strategies for improving the profitability of each brand portfolio · Design promotional inputs and schemes for the allocated region in coordination with marketing head and relevant sales head · Collaborate with field force to assess response to promotional materials and ensure that these materials are being used optimally. · Maximize brand performance and profitability for the business unit · Deploy effective KOL strategy and monitor implementation. · Build strong partnerships with sales teams, medical delegates, regulatory in the region and other functions to ensure hassle free implementation of the marketing plans Essential skills, experience & education: · Bachelors degree specializing in pharmacy/life sciences and masters degree in marketing · Experience (8-10 years) within the marketing function of a multi-country, matrix pharmaceutical company · Self-starter with an ability to stay independently motivated and deliver the assigned mandate · Experience working cross-culturally and cross-functionally with diverse colleagues · Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
