Country Manager

Job Description : COUNTRY MANAGER OMAN FOR MAJID AL FUTTAIM As the country leader you will be responsible for the successful operation of a large business area. Whether leading the strategic planning of the country in line with the group strategic direction, to the identification of new commercial opportunities, to ensuring the best talent are identified and developed within you teams to exceed customer expectations, this role will call on all of your leadership and management expertise. You will already have a demonstrated track record in the leadership of large, fast moving retail operations across a national territory and will be fully aware of the many demands of the sector. You will ensure the proper conservation, utilization and profitability of the assets in the country and control the application of investments that reinforce productivity and profitability. Through your relationships with key partners and suppliers you will drive the development of national concepts and bring innovative products and solutions to the market. As well as ensuring the effective implementation of group policies, you will also recommend areas for improvement and lead the development of mid and long term strategic initiatives. To be successful in this role you will already have at least 10 years in a dynamic, large retail, operational leadership position. You should be degree qualified, you may have continued your education to MBA or Masters level. Fluent in English and ideally at least one other language. You have outstanding communication skills and can quickly build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
