Production Manager

Job Description : SMS PRODUCTION MANAGER ETHIOPIA leading steel manufacturing company based at Ethiopia. Responsible for achieving monthly and annual production targets. Responsible for all activities of Melting in induction Furnace for all steel grades. Familiar with megatherm, electrotherm, and inductotherm furnaces. Responsible for smooth operation of CCM. Continuous monitoring of quality of scrap by coordinating with scrap graders and scrap suppliers. Should know the Charging calculation for various grades of steel. Should be able to Prepare documents related to the processes. Should be able to to maintain quality of all steel grades. Ensure planning & supervision of maintenance activities and proper utilization of available resources during planned downtime. Excellent in process documentation for continual improvement /Technology advancement. Monitoring of operational efficiency & effectiveness. Spares and equipment management related to production. Good coordination with inter dept like Quality, Maintenance, Electrical, CCM, billet yard, Marketing, rolling mill, oxygen plant, Store and finance. 10 years' into SMS plant in steel manufacturing company.
