The business targets small and medium-sized businesses in building their own dedicated teams in the Philippines. The organisation collaborates with their clients to assess the offshoring and business process outsourcing opportunities based on their needs and identify talent requirements with scalability in mind. Their specialised offshore recruitment process ensures their clients the best offshore talent in the Philippines that perfectly matches their role requirements and company culture. The business offers a range of Service Options to cater for a client’s specific needs, the most popular being the Full-Service Model, based on serviced office or work from home options, including Recruitment, HR, Payroll and IT support. They have over 1,100 offshore staff working on behalf of their Australia and US-based clients. In this excellent opportunity, as the business continues to grow, there has arisen a need for an experienced & highly commercial CFO to join the business in Sydney. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Group CFO will be responsible for all financial aspects of the organization and its entities across all its territories, currently the Philippines, Australia and the US. This role is a key member of the Global Executive Team and provides support and assistance with key commercial decision-making. A key focus and requirement is to work closely with all sections of the business to ensure the delivery of the company’s strategic plan. The CFO will have responsibility for overseeing, managing, and controlling all financial-related activities and services as well as supporting the Founder/CEO to develop and foster a performance-driven environment. The business is seeking an energetic, hands-on, precise, and passionate CFO with extensive experience in producing short and long-term improvements, across both Finance and the wider organisation. The Primary Functions include Providing valuable commercial insights across all commercial areas of the business, including with client contractual negotiations and renegotiations, support for commercial decision making with suppliers and partners, as well as pricing and margin analysis to support decision making. Responsibility for creating an environment of providing timely information to the executive team, combined with value-add insights to assist with making informed and improved decisions. Managing the budgeting and financial planning process, as well as the ongoing monitoring. Driving a strong focus on challenging the status quo and making positive change throughout the business. Assistance in business performance measurement and commercial decision making, implementing improvements in the business and development initiatives, assisting with problem solving (i.e. identify issues and present solutions / ideas to resolve). Responsibility for supporting and leading legal negotiations and legal drafting of MSAs, POs, NDAs and any other legal agreements, as well as providing commercial support and assistance around RFPs and tender processes. The development and ownership of financial, treasury, banking and internal controls of Satellite Office entities across the world, which includes (but is not limited to) policies and procedures, and performing all finance, commercial, legal and accounting services, as required. Responsibility for corporate and tax structure and ensuring compliance for statutory, financial, tax and management reporting across all countries of operations. Currently, in a senior leadership role within finance, the successful candidate will have amassed over 20 years' work experience in finance roles. The successful candidate will likely have commenced their career within the audit practice of a Big 4 or Top 20 firm. Ideally, this individual will bring with them experience of working in different geographies and/or managing offshore teams Preferably, with exposure to the B2B services, B2B technology or fast-moving high-growth organisations, the successful individual will understand the key P&L drivers of such businesses and will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of successfully satisfying the dual mandates of being both into the detail technically as well as strategic in their approach, activity, and acceptance of responsibility. This role will best suit a confident leader possessing the gravitas and assuredness to hold their own in robust business conversations, as well as the humility and respect to accept and execute post-debate decisions. Without question, this person will be an engaging and straightforward communicator, with the ability to continuously challenge the status quo.
