Job Description : GROUP DIRECTOR PROJECTS INDIA · Location: Delhi/ Mumbai Vedanta is a $30bn Revenue and $10bn profit organization and further we plan to invest $20bn in the next 4 to 5 years towards the expansion of our brownfield and some greenfield projects of Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy, Display Glass, Semi-conductor, Mining and Smelting. As we are progressing towards the next phase of expansion – ‘Transforming Community, Workplace & Planet’ remain at the epicentre. To further strengthen and drive this vision, we are looking for high quality leader as Group Director Projects who will be driving the Growth Expansion Projects across the group. The Opportunity We are looking for a leader who has experience in undertaking large projects and has a complete knowledge of business partners. S/He must be able to execute the contracts effectively and should be able to build a strong team including business partners. The leader should have executed large projects and have knowledge and passion while embracing today's Technology, Digital and PMO based monitoring. The incumbent should have knowledge of engineering companies who can work with him/her to develop the packages for participation of prospective partners. The leader should have a personality and reputation in the market to attract and the ability to lock-in the best talent and business partners. The Successful Candidate: Leaders with strong commercial and business acumen and proven capabilities in Delivering Outcomes, Acting Decisively and Inspiring People Solution Oriented with disruptive ideas Technologically driven professionals having rich experience of Global Best Practices Ability to develop projects economically without compromising on quality Demonstrated track record of driving large projects end to end from concept to commissioning and achieved the Project objectives of time, cost and performance excellence Thorough understanding of the latest trends, developments and best practices
