Financial Controller

Job Description : ASIA PROCUREMENT FINANCIAL CONTROLLER MALAYSIA An Asia Procurement Financial Controller job has become available at a well-established multinational organisation in Johor for the company’s procurement activities. As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for procurement finance for the Asia region. Manage financial planning/budgeting, financial reporting and analysis, process and control improvement, business partnering, and ensure compliance and standards are in place related to procurement activities Provide business insights, with clarity and recommendations on financial performance related to procurement spending, KPIs and any ad hoc investment or initiatives As a strong business partner, drive optimisation and productivity in terms of cost savings, business process improvements and optimisation of operating working capital Act as a strong compliance partner related to OTC order-to-cash and sourcing in line with company policies and standards as well as external best practices To succeed in this role, you must have at least over 10 years of work experience in the manufacturing, supply chain or procurement controlling functions. Accurate, flexible thinking, time management skills, high analytical skills, fluent English in both speaking and writing Team player, hands-on, proactive, influential communication skills, independent/self-starter, eager to learn and further develop, act with a sense of urgency Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills SAP R3/HANA user, particularly in SD/PP/WH/MRP/APO modules
