Job Description : ACCOUNT MANAGER TELECO THAILAND To be the single point of program management to ensure delivery, support (software and hardware) of a product. To ensure that the program delivery (hardware, software, support, managed services) meets the customers requirements and achieves customer acceptance. To build and develop a positive and enthusiastic team onsite and offshore. Maintain excellent relationship with client and ensure company’s reputation with client and industry is preserved. RESPONSIBILITIES /TASKS 1. Responsible for maintaining a good relationship with the project client and maintaining company’s reputation with the client and the wider industry. 2. Responsible for the commercial delivery of a program according to the terms of reference in a risk averse way. 3. Responsible for ensuring delivery meets the criteria set in the Contract or Terms of Business 4. Ensures appropriate commercial coverage is in place for all possible cases 5. Responsible for ensuring the project meets company’s financial and timescale targets agreed at project initiation (revenue, cost, profit, margin and delivery dates) 6. Responsible for timely invoicing of the Client for services and licences, according to the agreed payment schedule 7. Responsible for managing project related purchasing, project costs and expenditure in a cost efficient manner 8. Responsible for ensuring the company management is fully informed of project status and issues and made aware at the earliest possible time of concerns and risks that may affect delivery. 9. Responsible for the management and leadership of personnel within the project team, responding to motivational issues appropriately to ensure team efficiency. 10. Investigates opportunities for project extension, or future development 11. Liaise with the client and partner with them in their business and strategic planning activities SKILLS 1. 12+ years of delivery and account management in software product industry 2. Experience in managing Telecom BSS/OSS projects. 3. Willing to travel extensively based on project need. 4. Experience in dealing with Infrastructure related support and maintenance with third party vendors. 5. Solid experience in large scale managed service projects involving business and it aspects. 6. Strong negotiation skills. 7. Good experience of systems development including involvement in all major stages of software development projects. 2. Detailed Knowledge and appreciation of systems development lifecycles and methodologies. 3. Knowledge and appreciation of Project Management responsibilities, tasks, and methods. 4. Conversant in the use of Project Planning and tracking tools. 8. Conversant in the methods for financial management of the project. 9. Well established communication, presentation, motivational and inter-personal skills associated with person-management abilities. 10. A breadth of understanding of the project, its history and relationship to the rest of company, the project plan and financial basis, the current development status, functional and technical description, the project team and issues outstanding. 11. Thorough understanding, appreciation and analysis of the issues underlying systems development. 12. Awareness of the issues concerning the project within the client organisation and the identification of risks and further opportunities concerning the client and with associated partners. 13. Experience of the technical aspects of the relevant technologies, software and hardware, to be employed.
