Finance Director

Job Description : FINANCE DIRECTOR AMSTERDAM HOLLAND Your work will be highly visible and critical to the success of the company, and you will be able to make an immediate impact. You are expected to implement new systems and at the same time adapt to some of the current procedures. The Finance department is currently being set up with the opportunity for you to strengthen the "Finance way of working". You will provide the Company Executive Team with insights that support decision making on a strategic, tactical and operational level which makes you the main point of contact for all Finance related topics within the company. You will report to the Managing Director. Our ideal candidate has strong proficiency in Finance & Accounting, is a registered accountant in the Netherlands, has experience with auditing processes, has international experience in multi-entity companies, and can act both as a finance controller and strategic sparring partner. Configure elements of the Finance System Build consolidation reports for our stakeholders Process monthly and quarterly closings and deliver the financial reporting packages, including financial statements. Process statutory monthly, quarterly and/or yearly filling as required by the Dutch Authorities Assist with the auditing process Act within powers as a Statutory Director Promote the success of the company Solid experience in Finance roles - operational, tactical and strategic Management experience Communication and persuasion skills to perform relationship management with international stakeholders using a global perspective and cultural sensitivity Tax proficiency in NL (preferable Register Accountant - RA) Solution-driven, great communicator and can act as an expert in its field Ability to act both operationally and as a strategic sparring partner
