8 yearsJob Description : EXPORT MANAGER - GCC a leading food and beverage manufacturer in search of a commercial professional who has experience driving growth in international markets and in the GCC. We are looking for someone to join a leading food manufacturing business and help drive its business growth in international markets. This will require somebody who has the ability to identify and penetrate external markets as well as manage partnerships with distributors in each region. You will need to effectively identify and influence distributors to formulate viable RTM / GTM strategies whilst having a strong understanding of different cultural, regional, and regulatory challenges. This is a great opportunity for somebody who likes to have accountability and has an entrepreneurial mindset. Develop the Export departmental vision, mission, and strategy in line with the organizational strategy to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing departmental strategies across the business Identify opportunities and set up local partners to develop client access to end-use customers Oversee the consolidation and recommend the Export department budget Monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, and potential areas of cost reduction or performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon Lead and guide project management teams in the planning, organizing, management, and control of various projects in order to ensure that the project cycle is completed meeting agreed project parameters (cost budget, timelines, scope and quality), standards and objectives Identify and recommend business opportunities in an effort to grow the business and maximize profits Identify, incubate, and develop selected new ideas, initiatives and products in an effort to increase profitability Manage the different contracts under the Export department to ensure meeting the agreed upon SLA’s Build and manage relationships with existing and new clients to ensure the smooth flow of activities Ensure that the execution and the achievement of sales and collection budget are done Control the process of the feedback from the market regarding competitors’ activities, new product introductions, and other information pertaining to export market intelligence. Exercise proper control on pricing Adhere to local and externally relevant health and safety laws and policies. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or any related field Must have a min of 8 years of progressive experience within the food manufacturing sector, ideally with a Snacks/Confectionary products background A strong network of distributors/contacts across the GCC within the food manufacturing sector Excellent sales, communication, and negotiation skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers Experience within other international markets would be desirable Excellent interpersonal skills Fluency in Arabic would be a plus.
