Country Head

Job Description : COUNTRY HEAD VIETNAM The Country Head has responsibility for the efficient operations and execution of all the activities in their country/office. Represent the best interests of the company internally and externally for that region. Oversee the country strategic development and build compelling, compliant sourcing solutions that meet the needs of the business. Grow and develop talent. Manage the day to day execution and business operations in that region to ensure KPIs are achieved. Be the in-country, regional sourcing expert Be the visible & accessible leader in the office, and the administrator for all corporate activities Drive and support strategic initiatives & act as partner for offshore a/c leads Manage the efficient running of the hub office and the satellite operations in Cambodia, Thailand and Philippines. Work with the Business Leaders in Europe, US and Offshore. Build supply chain capability to provide compelling sourcing solution Reinforce and deliver compliance and CR/Sustainability goals and objectives Support account teams in execution and order management including escalation resolution Grow and develop talents for future As the point person for business leaders for Hub strategy and issue resolution Champion company core values, cares and culture in region and be the ambassador for the company Develop, motivate and coach the team to deliver on KPIs Work closely with multiple functions team heads including merchandising, raw materials, technical design Work in a matrix structure and handle different products and business categories Identify and build strategic vendor relations Contribute to global and regional projects working closely with VP, Regional Operations, East Asia Degree holder in Business or Supply Chain. Master's Degree a plus Minimum 15 years industry experience with at least five years solid experience in local market Previous country / office manager preferable Consultancy experience in the textiles or fashion supply chain an advantage Extensive hands-on global supply chain knowledge and experience Extensive knowledge of raw materials, construction, costing, macro-economic trends and capacity planning Strong background on product development and R&D In-depth knowledge of sourcing and production organisation In-depth knowledge of multi-tiered sourcing strategies
