Supply Chain Head

Job Description : 5) Head of Supply Chain Management role has just become available with an International Swiss high tech manufacturing company in St. Gallen a Swiss company with offices in the USA, Europe and Asia, specializing in the development, production and distribution of high-tech products. Key Responsibilities: • Definition and implementation of the company’s Supply Chain strategy, fully supporting the business strategy • Be an interface to the Business Units and Product Engineering • Definition and further development of the optimal supplier base • Involving suppliers in relevant development projects and customer activities • Responsible for the development and execution of a sound planning process throughout the entire supply chain • Optimization and establishment of processes in the company’s ERP system • Optimization of Supply Chain Lead Times and On-Time Delivery • Total Cost Reduction/Improvements (Quality, Time, Cost) • Enhancement of the supply chain reporting and controlling system as well as improvement of its results To succeed in the role of Head of Supply Chain Management you need to have at least 12-15 years of experience in a similar position, be an inspiring leader and have an excellent knowledge of German and English • Strong process thinking and knowledge of Supply Chain Management processes • Very good understanding of the total internal and external supply chain • Experienced in creating and executing visions and strategies • Knowledge about state of the art e-business solutions • Very good negotiation and contracting skills • Good Risk Management knowledge • Communicator and team player • Encouraged leadership style that leads to performance improvements in teams and individuals
