Group Accountant

Job Description : GROUP ACCOUNTANT MALAYSIA An attractive Group Accountant job has become available at a prestigious company based in Kuala Lumpur. Reporting directly to the Group Finance Manager, this is a role for a finance expertise who is a leader in their field. In this business critical role, you will be responsible for preparing annual reports, quarterly consolidated accounts, and relevant financial reporting. Prepare consolidated accounts and ensure the accounts are prepared accurately and timely for reporting to the top management Be involved in the implementation of consolidation module Enhance existing consolidation and reporting related processes Review intercompany balances, reconciliations, and balance sheet reviews Monitor and enhance processes to ensure internal controls are well in place and effective Ensure effective internal control procedures and compliance of accounting standards, company policies and statutory requirements Enhance, develop, implement accounting policies and procedures Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS To succeed in this Group Accountant role, you must have strong knowledge of consolidation and IFRS accounting standards. Professionally qualified with accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CPA Australia or equivalent Minimum of 12 years of work experience with four or more years in managing group finance, external audit and with existing commercial experience in multinational company or public listed company
