Plant Manager

Job Description : PLANT MANAGER THAILAND A rapidly expanding lubricant manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Plant Manager (x1 vacancy) to be based in Samutsakhon, Thailand. In this job, you will be accountable for lead plant operation, HSE, engineering, supply chain, and performance improvement for Thailand business. In this business critical role, you will be responsible for the overall performance, direction, and execution of operations within the operating plant, and where applicable the associated local overflow warehouse. The plant manager establishes the vision and objectives for the plant which are aligned with the goals of the strategy in region and its business partners. The salary package is competitive and provided with insurance and variable bonus. Manage manufacturing scope of work which covers production, maintenance, engineering, improvement, HSE, quality, production planning, inventory management, and warehousing activities Optimise resources, operating safely, and ensure processes are in place which deliver against the requirements from planning and works closely with the planning function to balance demand and supply within the capacity constraints Lead safety and continuous improvement activity, ensure principles and standards related to safety are effectively established Continuously strive to improve plant operations to maximise efficiency and effectiveness Manage relationship with external service providers to improve plant safety and efficiencies Ensure compliance to all regulatory and internal requirements with respect to manufacturing operations The successful candidate must have excellent planning and logistics skill with experience dealing with commercial parties as well as supply chain operations skill. Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or related field At least fifteen years experience of which five years work experience in plant operation, managerial level Demonstrated leadership of large diverse teams in a manufacturing environment Proven ability to work with diverse cross-functional teams to achieve outcomes, solve problems and improve processes Good analytical, interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
