They have established this position through acquisition, successful organic growth strategies and their commitment to innovation and customer care. They are a multi-site consumer and service-based organisation with operations in Australia and several locations offshore. Enjoying an enviable market position, they are committed to providing outstanding customer experience, product choice and quality. This emerging business unit has a high profile across the organisation given its innovative product offering which has been strategically driven by the CEO and leadership team given global best practise. As General Manager, you will enjoy the opportunity to utilise your strong sales and product development skills within a somewhat greenfield environment. The role will be accountable for the development and implementation of the business unit’s strategy ensuring a profitable and sustainable plan for securing a strong pipeline of leads and conversion across multiple geographies and brands. It includes the creation and review of marketing plans, product development and building cross functional team capability. We are seeking a seasoned executive with substantial experience in sales, marketing and product development. Ideally, this will have been gained in a high touch service or retail environment but that is not essential. What is essential is experience in successfully leading and motivating geographically dispersed teams coupled with the ability to influence outcomes in a complex services organisation through exceptional negotiations skills.
