Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Description : Business Intelligence Analyst Location: Dubai Responsibilities: -Analyze business and financial data -Analyze purchase price and inventory trends -Create a financial model based on analysis to support organizational decision making -Develop financial plans and reports for organizational leaders -Analyze current/seasonal industry trends and make recommendations based on those trends -Identify growth/efficiency/cost-saving opportunities -Conduct studies on past, future, and comparative performance to develop forecast models and trends -Use statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends that could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction -Develop automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data -Work with key functional leadership to discuss functional financial/ non-financial performance. -Assist the Sales function with margin analysis and sharing inputs on improving business profitability by utilizing analytics -Manage and design the reporting environment, including data sources, data storage, data mining, and cleansing, and data integrity and security -Train end-users on new reports and dashboards -Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function -Perform other related duties as assigned Job Requirements: -Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, economics -Experience as a Finance/ Non-Finance Analyst -Knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, and information analysis, spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications -Hands-on experience with statistical analysis and data visualization tools such as Power BI, and Tableau, Knowledge of programming languages like SQL, MATLAB, and Python will be an added advantage
