Job Description : FINANCE MANAGER SHARJAH UAE Finance Business Partner for Business Unit, managing a team of 5 accountants. Member of Senior Leadership Team and support Business Unit Heads and Leadership to improve top-line revenue, tight cost controlling and optimise the bottom -line profitability. Review the budget variance and update the rolling forecast on a periodic basis and report critical performance and operational efficiency to the Leadership team. Review the financial reporting processes to ensure compliance to IFRS Maintain strong working relationships with the external auditors, tax advisors Provide oversight and support compliance to internal controls Business Process Owner for the finance process for SAP – drive the change, review, and approve the roles and user access levels, provide functional requirements etc. Enforce costs and expenses are under tight control and ensuring Operations delivers and reports annual savings through Operational excellence activities. Ensuring financial feasibility of vendor contracts with new business opportunities by performing financial analysis, feasibility studies, developing detailed financial models etc. as required by the Management. Provide inputs for financing arrangements/restructuring etc. such as cash flow reviews, finance covenants etc. Trade Finance Arrangement such as Letter of Credit, guarantees etc. Maintains and improves internal controls and is first line of defence against weakness of those. Review of General ledger/Accounts Receivable/Payable on a monthly basis to ensure the accuracy of posting Monitor the outstanding collections from customers and take appropriate steps to ensure collection of all the outstanding dues. Responsible for the Performance Management of all team members Managing working capital requirements. Cash injection to projects as and when required Review agreements between JV partners and advise to ensure that such agreements/contracts are technically and financially sound. Requirements Qualified Chartered Accountant with min 10 yrs post qual experience Currently working in the capacity of Finance Manager or Controller Strong team manager who is happy to be hands-on and lead by example Strong, outspoken and confident, able to challenge people in a constructive way Past experience in a commercial finance role, having been a business partner to non-finance people in the past
