Job Description : Functional Head – NPD & ENGINEERING (GM/SGM) To Lead overall R&D, Engineering & NPD & Product & Process Engg. activities in line with Growth Plan of an organization. Salary up to 50Lac Location - Noida Mechanical Engineering Experience- Atleast 15-20 years of industry experience in a similar role. Key Responsibility · RFQ handling, Expertise in making quotes/ cost estimates for die casting tools and process automation tools. · Handover the approved PAP to production for mass production. · Expertise in casting manufacturing feasibility, tooling design feasibility, tooling maintainability and casting quality feasibility. · Identification and Development of new sources for raw material & tooling. · Responsible for taking timely corrective and preventive instruction to operators about Special check items/method/handling/storage/identification for initial product/Supply control. · Close monitoring of initial product. Actions for non-conformities reported from internal customers. · Strengthening of ECN/PCN System. · Project Management CAD/CAM/Design software knowledge. Core Tools knowledge. Costing & Negotiations. Machine tools/ jigs/fixtures development. GD&T · Drive Project Management for Product realization in all 3 division. · Understanding customers requirement, customer proposals based on concept designs. · Bench marking for PQCDSME targets and Project Management to meet customer’s requirement and schedule management. · Customer contract achievement. · Initial Flow Control – QACM. · Internal & Customer approvals in R&D for products and QA gate system. · PLM/CAD/CAE/CFD, Product Technology, Vehicle Integration, Product testing, DFMEA, GD&T, CTS, PPAP. Costing VA/VE, Product technology, Product testing. · SAP – PP, MM, QM, SD Modules. · Controlling BOM for ERP. · Strengthening Engineering Capabilities for an Organization level for casting, precision machining & tubing parts. · Drive VA/VE culture at Organization level. Critical Role success factor Build a culture of Innovation and continuous improvement Drive Engineering Excellence Partner with IT team for Digital capability building for leveraging Industry 4.0 Drive intervention to improve quality of existing operational processes & technologies through Robust three tier Quality framework (Central, plant and customer) Partner with Management team to identify opportunities to expand production/operations and asses’ feasibility of the initiative. People development through mentoring and coaching to leverage the potential of each individual to the fullest potential
