Operations Manager

Job Description : BATCHING PLANT OPERATION MANAGER NIGERIA Roles and Responsibilities · The Concrete Batch Plant Operation Manager will manage the grade and quantity of production of ready-mix concrete according to the demand and requirement of buyer. · Monitor and follow up with the periodic and preventive maintenance for all plant equipment; evaluate the inspection of the equipment and evaluate the cleanliness and periodic maintenance. · Performing regular tests (slump test, flow test, cube tests etc.) to maintain the quality of the produce. · Ensure maintenance of daily records of all site activities, including information on labor and equipment and any non-compliant materials or workmanship. · Ensure safety best practices are being utilized during all site activities, with lost time accidents. · Sampling aggregate and concrete, curing of cubes, Concrete air content determination, Concrete Consistency Control, Weekly plant scale verification · Promote the concept of proactive maintenance and maintenance contracts; Fill in needed reports, organize and keep up to date the parts and operating manual catalogues, the service information files, technical documentation. · Commit to personal development by attending required trainings and working in a collaborative manner with all team members to learn from their market and client experiences; Implement the after sales processes and continuously follow-up and update reporting database and CRM with notes and planning for future interventions or building type structures. · Receives and schedules concrete orders from customers and communicates with drivers on accurate and timely delivery of concrete products; Monitors incoming materials, payroll, truck scheduling and compiles / publishes periodic production reports. · Assists in scheduling personnel, call-ins, equipment, raw materials deliveries, etc. to meet customer requirements; supporting and directing safety and policy agendas at the plant and throughout the division, assisting plant management with housekeeping, maintaining and materials support for the plant. · Distribute jobs to the technicians in their fields and ensure that the repairing of existing faults; Contribute to the overall performance improvement of the batch plant; Ensure optimum equipment availability and performance at all times and minimum cost.. · Maintain and review everyday logs and assist to resolve all issues and provide support to all engineering activities and participate in all facilities maintenance meetings. · Review and recommend improvements of all SOP procedures and perform troubleshoot on all plant activities and resolve all issues and assist facilities manager to implement all changes. · Validate all systems and prepare required documents for all installation proves. · Provide an efficient interface with all automation and validation processes sand provide training to all engineers and mechanics. · Provide an efficient interface with engineering department to evaluate all upcoming capital projects and analyze and obtain required feedback for all equipment and layouts. Desired Candidate Profile · A Batching plant Operation Manger who has 10+ years of experience of batching plant operation. · Candidate can be Any Graduate. · Must have experience in Cement / Concrete Industry.
