Supply Chain Head

Job Description : SC HEAD UAE leading food manufacturer in the UAE in their search for a Head of Supply Chain who will manage the entire E2E Supply Chain from the manufacturing process, such as procurement, delivery and warehousing of materials, and inventory control to the distribution of finished goods. It will also include forecasting demand, analysing inventory and troubleshooting issues that can affect supplies. The Head of Supply Chain shall apply practices to respond to business challenges and advance organisational goals. Do you have proven experience leading a full supply chain within the FMCG Industry? Responsible for E2E Supply Chain Operations, including all manufacturing, warehouse, logistics and procurement Oversee the purchasing and inventory of raw materials, selection of vendors, and distribution of finished goods and services Anticipate changes in cost, availability, and suitability of goods and services to develop strategic plans to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations Manage all day-to-day supply chain operations working closely with key managers and team members Simplify and streamline processes associated with purchasing, planning, supplier quality, warehousing and control of materials from the receipt of forecasting needs to the delivery of the finished product Develop a strategic plan to realize the vision of the business considering both short-term and long-term objectives Lead regular strategy deployment and KPI reviews for the supply chain team ensuring attainment of results and a sense of urgency with respect to the strategic implementation priorities Communicate performance expectations by evaluating performance, providing timely feedback, training and coaching, and recommending personnel actions for assigned staff Participate in recruitment, orientation, training and other personnel development activities Understand industry conditions and dynamics and proactively take action to create advantage and /or mitigate risk. Degree qualified in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field Minimum of 8-10 years of experience managing a complete supply chain within the FMCG Industry Preferred to have relevant experience operating in the GCC region Proven track record of driving world-class standards across the entire supply chain Strong leadership skills and must be able to give clear direction, inspire great work and hold people accountable Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple and shifting priorities A dynamic and self-motivated person who can execute on a strategic level but has the desire to lead from the front.
