Job Description : PLANT TECHNICAL PROCESS MANAGER INJECTION MOLDING AUSTRALIA 15+ years experience 1.Ensure quality in all production areas. 2.Monitor production rate to established baselines. 3.Monitor personnel job performance. 4.Coordinate production and maintenance repairs. 5.Coordinate production and tooling repairs. 6.Monitor required production hours internal/external; recommend adjustments as needed. 7.Interview prospective molding department personnel. 8.Administer disciplinary action as required. 9.Monitor and approve all production overtime work. 10Assist Q.A. in “hot list” item delegation. 11.Train foreman in required E.D.M. practices. 12.Assist in training of all production personnel as needed. 13.Monitor production rates. Advise production personnel on required actions. 14.Monitor quality issues in Q.A.; convene MRB meetings as needed. Instruct production on required actions. 15.Monitor the reject area; schedule disposition as needed. 16.Convene and moderate weekly production meetings. 17.Review and approve sample processing. Assist production foreman with sampling as needed. 18.Review process parameters and create Setup Data cards. Update cards when required. 19.Review production schedule daily; apply updated information as required. 20.Certify employees for forklift operation. 21.Promote proper work habits and practices throughout the organization. 22.Meet with all shift foremen daily. 23.Monitor inventory integrity, and correct and resolve problems. 24.Ensure QS-9000 guidelines are adhered to Expedite tooling repairs. Expedite special shipping requirements Delegate regrind; reject product recovery as required. Fill in for absent personnel as needed. (Shipping, Molding, Maintenance, Q.A., & Tool Room) Review regrind amounts; disposition as needed as approved by management. Review plant-engineering issues with the maintenance department. Ensure timely production. Resolve employee disputes, with management assistance as needed.
