Job Description : IT MANAGER DRC FOR A LEADING BANK : CANDIDATES WITH AFRICA EXPERIENCE AND WORKING IN BANKS WILL BE AN ADDED ADVANTAGE An IT manager is basically defined as the IT professional that oversees all aspects of a business Information systems, Networking, communication and database used by an enterprise. His/her roles also includes (but not limited) to take lead for proper functioning of the direction/ department, business planning, follow-up of business requirement and task distributions to the team members. Job to be performed by IT Manager : 1 Responsible for the management of multiple information and communications systems and projects 2. Review all hardware and software acquisition and maintenance contracts, soliciting involvement and participation of other management team members as appropriate 3. Maintain contact with IT suppliers and maintains knowledge of current technology, equipment, prices and terms of agreements to minimize the investment required to meet established service levels 4. Manage relationships with vendors for sales, service and support of all information systems and technology including requirements for Ops and projects 5. Oversee and evaluate system security and back up procedures. 6. Maintain problem logs, documenting system errors or defects 7. Facilitate correction of any system failures and serve as contact point for all system solutions 8. Create risk mitigation procedures 9. Implemented Collaboration tools across the organization to support global workforce 10. Manage the system and OS platform. CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION · Bachelor or Masters in IT, engineering or Computer Science · 10+ years of experience in a senior-level information technology from bank of financial institution. · Should have managed a team of at least 20 people · Leadership and change management skills · Strong organisationnel skills · Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues, both logical and interpersonal · Ability to negotiate and defuse conflict · Rsulter-orientation • Self-motivated, independent, cooperative, flexible, creative Quality and Compliance · Ensure that all information systems and networks operate according to internal standards, external accrediting agency standards, regulatory agencies and legal requirements · Establish company infrastructure to support and guide individual divisions/departments/sites in computing and information technology efforts · Constantly improve the compliance and quality levels within the systems of the company KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR IT Manager 1. Cloud and Remote Services Microsoft 365, MS Azure LDAP, Oracle (OIC) monitoring and management 4. Cloud Computing Activities Set up Hybrid, Private Cloud and Public Cloud infrastructure & built applications for cloud environment which include OIC, Azure and AWS. 5. Mobility Mobile Device Management, BYOD, Mobile Computing 6. Communication and Maintenance 7. Microsoft Exchange 2016/2019 8.
