Job Description : GM FMCG SALES KENYA 20+ years experience Responsible for the overall direction, control and management of all activities within the manufacturing and logistical operations of the company. An individual in a General Manager role is a generalist who is familiar with all areas of the business and can coordinate processes and operations across the organization. A General Manager must speak the languages of operations, sales, marketing, finance and accounting, human resource, lastly research and development or engineering. The General Manager is responsible for the overall smooth running of the organization. He is responsible to ensure that all departments run smoothly, all data entries are up-to-date and all reports are submitted on time. Desired Candidate Profile Job Accountabilities/Key Responsibilities · Developing manufacturing and operational strategic plans and generally overseeing the implementation to ensure maximum capacity utilisation of the manufacturing units towards achieving the groups strategy, growth and profit objectives. · The GM must submit to the CEO / Director weekly the material position. · Oversee planning and implementation of production plans including receiving sales forecasts; requisition for procurement of raw materials; and manufacturing of products . · The GM must hold a Management meeting on a monthly basis to iron out all the problems faced and progress made on various issues for the month. The minutes of the meeting is to be forwarded to the CEO / Director · Responsible for formulating policies, programs, and objectives affecting the schedule, quality, and cost of manufactured products. Directing and co-coordinating production according to quality and quantity specifications within cost objectives. · Identify and advice the group on technological advances to meet the groups competitive objectives within the marketplace. · Oversee creation and delivery of press releases, corporate communication, advertisements, and other marketing materials. · Analyse market trends and recommend changes to marketing and business development strategies based on analysis and feedback. · Analysis market trends globally and in Kenya and suggest New Product Development. · Key account management: sales and marketing · Ensure brand messages are consistent and gather and analyse customer insight. SALARYIN US DOLLARS---OPEN OR UPTO 5000 USD PM-- ACCORDING TO EXPERIENCE—TAX FREE SALARY ACCOMMODATION, TRANSPORTATION, ANNUAL LEAVE, HOME TRAVEL, INCREMENTS AND BONUS AVAILABLE AS PER COMPANY RULES.
