Job Description : Director – Portfolio Management Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates Duration: Permanent – Full time Industry: Telecommunication Background required: Strategy Consultancy specializing in Telecommunication Principal Functions: - Track and keep key stakeholders informed of key market developments in the country of operation, from a macroeconomic, competition, regulatory and any other element that could impact the value of the client. - Monitor and evaluate client performance on an ongoing basis. - Support / facilitate the preparation for all pre-board sessions - Keep track of decisions/ actions and monitor the ongoing implementation - Provide holistic advice to the client boards (and also to CEO) by reviewing, analyzing and collecting expert advice from other colleagues for all board documents - Facilitate alignment & dissemination of information to key stakeholders to ensure internal coordination Duties & Responsibilities: - Act as the expert for specific markets in the clients portfolio, and as such - Develop strong expertise in telecommunication markets including history, investment and returns, and performance - Assess the client’s standalone performance on a monthly basis based on a deep understanding of associated drivers, operational priorities, budget targets, and strategic long-term plans - Develop in-depth market analyses in terms of financials and associated drivers - Assist in developing clients CEO scorecards
