Job Description : PROCUREMENT MANAGER NIGERIA 15+ year experience Job Responsibility · Handle procurement of spare parts, tools and accessories as per the need. · Design procurement strategy, devise timeline for procurement and implement the same. · Should have knowledge in designing the ideal pricing strategy for procurement of critical parts, tools and consumables. · Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness. · Develop vendors and execute price contract for continuous supply of consumables and other regular items. · Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms · Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power. · Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking. · Assess, manage and mitigate risks. · Ensure procurement of the best products at the most economical price. · Analyse the quality of the materials procured and take corrective action on supply of poor-quality materials. · Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand Skills · Negotiation · Vendor development, · Purchase planning · Prioritizing · Relationship Building · Understanding of machine parts and AutoCAD drawing Desired Profile · Should have experience in engineering procurement. · Experience in steel industry - will be an added advantage. · Knowledge of Nigeria markets - highly preferred.
