Senior Molding Engineer

Job Description : SENIOR MOLDING ENGINEER VIETNAM An exciting Senior Molding Engineer job has arisen in a leading electronics manufacturing company in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Reporting directly to the Maintenance & Service Manager. In this Senior Molding Engineer role, you don't have to design the mold, but your main tasks are planning, organising, executing, and troubleshooting lean & efficient molding machines and equipment. Sustain and establish traceability on process level as and when defined or necessary (e.g. buy-off and metering data) Provide technical expertise and support to all topics related to released molding machine, equipment and procedures Perform Failure Analysis of Process and Equipment issues, identify root causes and develop repair procedure including component level Provide technical feedback and sharing of daily experience for existing product portfolio in machine and equipment related matters to IE/R&D/Value Engineering and other relevant parties, if approached Troubleshooting molding machine and equipment or cooperate with suppliers to troubleshoot the problems Manage and coordinate new mold transfers Organise and/or execute production equipment calibration (incl. review of Service reports / Calibration Certificate) Ensure equipment safety according to existing documents Minimum 10 years’ experience directly working with molding and injection molding machine Active application of problem-solving tools and methodology Worked with injection molding machines (preferred ARBURG and/or FANUC)
