15 yearsJob Description : GM FRANCE The BU of which you are heading generates several tens of millions of euros in turnover and employs more than 250 people. It is an industrial and commercial activity whose products are intended for professionals and individuals alike. The scope includes a main geographical area and two peripheral areas (multiple production sites). You take over the general management of the historical BU of a family group in strong development in France and internationally and whose history began in the overseas territories. You report to the chairman and shareholder of the group. The current management in place for many years has succeeded in establishing this group activity in a leading position in the geographical area. The first challenge of your duties is therefore to be part of a logic of managerial transition and to guide the company so that it continues its development successfully in the years to come. The position, its context and the family structure of the group's shareholding imply that you are committed to this position for the long term. In this context, your main missions are: With the president of the group, establish for the perimeter the strategy for the years to come on the managerial, economic, commercial, industrial and social levels; Fluidly initiate the managerial transmission and perpetuate the structure's management committee; Lead change management projects within the company's departments by pursuing a dual logic of efficiency gain and risk control; Ensure and develop relations with economic and political actors in the area with a view to responsible development and mutual interests; Identify growth markets and development opportunities to always optimize the business strategy of the scope; Carefully monitor the smooth running and optimization of the group's production activities (security of supplies, industrial optimization, QHSE, etc.); Establish the scope over time and anticipate the investments to be made (industrial, commercial, marketing and human); Investigate potential acquisition opportunities when they arise; Maintaining the Group's corporate culture and values ??(and in particular its CSR policy). With a higher academic education (Bac + 5 or equivalent), you present a career path built first in structures recognized for their excellence and their very high level of requirements, then within SMEs / ETIs in management positions general. In this second part of your career, you have demonstrated your desire to build over time and to lead a structure of comparable size to the position mentioned. Regardless of whether you come from a commercial or engineering background, you ideally know the construction or chemical sector; you appreciate its dynamism and simplicity. The position requires the qualities of a strategist, excellent managerial skills as well as a great understanding of the situation to calmly and effectively accompany the transition that the company will experience.
