Job Description : FINANCE AND IT DIRECTOR AUSTRALIA Located in the heart of Adelaide's CBD, this organisation is committed to delivering an unmatched client service which is embedded in its values. Reporting to a team of Partners, the purpose of this newly created role as Director, Finance and IT is to implement strategic initiatives and direction relating to IT operations, financial activities, and governance framework. This role is a key leadership role with full responsibility to lead the IT and Finance teams, oversee the strategic deliverables and position the organisation for success in the future. Develop and deliver effective IT, financial and risk strategies with a focus on governance and systems across the organisation Develop a strategic financial plan to support the business' Financial strategic objectives Effectively managing and monitoring the business' operating revenue and expenditure, maintaining a focus on net operating profit Ensure the IT framework provides a high level of effective management of data, information and technology and provide adequate controls, security and functionality to support the deliverables of the strategic objectives Building a profitable and sustainable business, by ensuring annual and long-term financial plans and budgets are prepared, monitored and controlled Providing high-level strategic planning and advisory services on IT services that provide the basis for determining future IT investment and technology decisions Oversee change management projects relating to the activities of IT and budget performance Provide leadership to the Finance and IT teams Establish a performance culture, leading by example to ensure there is a culture of teamwork and business partnering across the broader organisation Provide monthly budget reporting to the Partner Group Success in previous leadership roles including developing strategic plans across financial management, IT and governance Experience with strategic workforce planning that drives performance, governance and system improvements Proven ability to deliver transformation and change programs which include people, process and systems Experience managing complex stakeholder engagement Overall, you will need to be a self-motivated individual with the ability to build collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and decision makers. Your professional behaviour and committed work ethic will demonstrate your ability to consistently achieve high standards of productivity with utmost integrity.
