Job Description : AFTERSALES HEAD MALAYSIA An exciting Head of Aftersales job opportunity, based in Penang, has just become available at one of the major automotive players in the Asia Pacific region with a presence in Malaysia, China, Hong Kong, Macau, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, and Taiwan. The Head of Aftersales is responsible for managing the aftersales department which includes service, parts and warranty. You will have to ensure a high level of repair quality, customer satisfaction and profitability. Maximise the use of workshop facilities to its optimum capacity Plan and strategies aftersales budget i.e workshop facilities/manpower/training to ensure the aftersales operations are well developed to cater to customer/business needs Achieve budgeted workshop financial targets as well as other related aftersales KPIs Propose/recommend solutions to ensure workshop productivity is improving as well as uninterrupted Closely monitor efficiency, productivity and utilisation Ensure development of staff for skill sets and knowledge Ensure high degree of repair quality in completed works Ensure customers complaints are dealt with efficiently to avoid any escalation to principals/management or bad reputation of the company Take measures to improve results, motivate staff to achieve targets set Streamline workshop flow and working conditions Support peer managers on technical issues and complaints Support workshop foremen in problems encountered Conduct periodical review of the workshop performance of individual staff to ensure that work attitudes and work performance meets the company objectives Execute any other tasks as instructed by the management Ensure compliance to the prevailing environment, safety and health policies and legal requirements, and sustainability initiatives To succeed in this Head of Aftersales role, you must have experience in creating a positive customer experience with a proven track record of being able to develop and execute effective aftersales strategies. Bachelor's degree, postgraduate diploma, professional degree Minimum of 12 years of people management and aftersales experience in automotive industry Able to communicate at all levels and able to speak the local dialects Proactive and results and targets-driven
