Project Manager

Job Description : Project Manager: AIRPORTS FOR NIGERIA Job Role: · Create project documents and Update project documents · Negotiate price, terms, and conditions with vendors · Coordinate with Legal department to draft contracts · Coordination with the external Airport consultants for daily updates on the progress of project as per the timelines · Collate and evaluate data for decision making · Liaison with Government departments · Manage day-to-day operational and budget aspects of project and scope · Ensure that project is delivered as per the timelines and budget; raise red flag for any deviation · Execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements · Oversee the Airport construction · Follow all relevant information about the Airport construction schedules · Advise on requirement of any changes in construction schedules · Advise on quality of work · Identify areas for cost control · Attend project review meetings · Provide feedback about performance of vendors/contractors · Ensure effective implementation of Safety Policies/Procedures within the Project SKILLS: · Ability to supervise and execute airport construction · Deep understanding of technical aspect of construction of Aircraft movement areas, technical buildings and Fuel farm · Competent to work with Microsoft Excel, Auto CAD · Experienced in Navigation Equipment planning and procurement · Skilled in Vendor Management · Excellent negotiation skills QUALIFICATION: · MBA / Engineer or Airport professional with experience in handling Greenfield airport projects · Candidates with overseas experience will be preferred Experience: · 15-20 years experience in airport projects including construction and commissioning · Preferably, should have independently handled at least one Greenfield airport project
