Fleet Manager

Job Description : FLEET MANAGER: NIGERIA Job objectives: An Aircraft Fleet Manager is directly responsible for all items relevant to the administration and quality control of the fleet. They must supervise and manage the day-to-day activities including aircraft maintenance, flight crews, training, scheduling, dispatch, and compliance with regulations. Fleet managers take on all day-to-day operations of aircrafts. This ensures the fleet is operating to its full potential and helps maximize efficiency and productivity. Fleet managers may come from an out-sourced company or work directly for the owners of the fleet. To perform airworthiness and safe operation of complete aircraft fleet of an airline and maintain the desired Technical Dispatch Reliability. Job Role: · Organizing aircraft repairs · Scheduling routine aircraft maintenance · Overseeing the financial aspects of aircraft · Tracking and diagnosing aircraft functions · Managing aircraft crew members · Booking a private jet or helicopter charter · Managing fuel consumptions and costs · Implementing health and safety programs · Facilitating partnerships between aircraft operators and clients/passengers · Adhering to the regulations of the Federal Aviation Administration · Responsible for preparation, modification and updation of the maintenance schedules for the various fleets of aircrafts. · Should be involved maintenance of equipment like aircraft, vehicles, armament systems and communications · Should be involved in setting up/ operation of maintenance and logistics system for a fleet of aircrafts · Developed communications and other support systems for operations in a multinational environment · leading a team of professionals at an I-level repair facility for ground-based radio, communication and navigation equipment in the South of India. SKILLS: · Ability to supervise and execute maintenance team. · planning, directing, managing, coordinating and supervising the programs for acquisition, assignment, utilization, maintenance, repair of aircrafts. · Analytical skills. · Open to new ideas. · Strong Decision Making · Strong Communication Skills. · Patient & Flexible. · Great Time Management Skills. Qualification: Must have Diploma/ bachelors degree or equivalent experience is highly preferred
